Nice, sturdy and just what was needed to give the mantle a needed addition of support! Awesome design. Fits great in our... mid century modern- industrial designs!These worked great for support on our bar!These are gorgeous but using them on a quartz bar top that extended out about a foot with 6" brackets (the only size available when I purchased them) left the counter with a decided tilt. Eventually, we used inexpensive L brackets and painted them white so they were virtually invisible and used these lovely corbels on the ends of the counter. They still help support the counter but the heavy lifting is mostly done by the L brackets (much less expensive but who would want to look at them?). The fault was mostly in not getting larger corbels however I feel much more secure with the "invisible" L brackets and think they would have been a good idea regardless.
