Ordered 4 chairs. First one arrived Sept 11. Box appeared to have been opened and re-sealed, otherwise okay. Upon opening I discovered 1 of the plastic pads on the end of the 4 metal legs had been broken off. Okay, not a major problem. I should be able to replace or repair. Assembly was idiot proof, but the seat swivel did not have memory return, as was described in the second bullet point for the item. I decided to wait for delivery of the three remaining chairs, which was today. The three remaining chairs arrived today. First box was opened and I saw right away that it was missing one of the plastic pads on one of the legs. No memory return on the swivel. Next box had all the parts included, but when I assembled it, one of the welded legs was 3/16" shorter than the other three, which resulted in the chair wobbling badly. Again, no memory swivel return. The fourth chair was intact with no issues other than the lack of return memory on the swivel.Apparently the Chinese factory that made the chairs decided to start using cheap swivels with no ball bearings or memory return, and thought no one would notice. These are advertised as commercial grade chairs, and priced accordingly. I am feeling pretty much ripped off right now. A good quality memory return swivel will cost me about $48 per chair. I reported this to Amazon, but the rep. wasn't very helpful, other to offer a return. That would mean disassembly and repackaging, and delivery of 4 heavy and bulky items to a UPS drop-off center, which is 20 miles away.
